UK Passports & Renewals

As of the 28th October 2013, the High Commission, Passport Section in Pretoria stopped processing passport applications. All applications now have to be sent to the Passport Office in Durham, UK. The application form and payment has to be completed online before the form can be printed for submission to the UK.

We can assist by completing the form online on the applicant’s behalf, paying  UK Passport embassy fee, courier to the UK  and verification on all supporting documents.

  • You should avoid applying for your passport at the last minute.
  • You can apply to renew your passport at any time.
  • Any remaining validity up to nine months will be transferred from your old passport to your new one.
  • You should not book travel until you have received your new passport.  The British Government cannot accept responsibility for costs incurred if travel is booked and subsequently cancelled before the passport has been received.
  • You will receive your new passport and supporting documents separately.

What is an ‘old blue’ passport?

This is a passport with a blue cover that was issued up until the early 1990s. You can’t renew an expired ‘old blue’ style passport. You must apply as a first-time applicant and send the blue passport to us with your supporting document.

Your application should take 8 weeks from when it’s received by Her Majesty’s Passport Office in the UK.
